Woodward 9905-463 is a second generation user-configurable steam turbine digital governor with front panel mounting, with some of the following parameters:
Power input: 24Vdc;
Applicable standard: rated to Class 1, Div.2 standard position;
Applications: Designed for simple single-valve steam pumps requiring only basic turbine control and protection monitoring; It can also be used in more complex single valve, single valve extraction or single admission turbine applications where analog or discrete I/O (input and output) is required and optional inputs and outputs can be connected to the controller via Woodward’s bbbbnetht distributed I/O modules; When configuring a control single pump and/or admission turbine, its field-proven ratio limiter function ensures proper decoupling of the interaction between two controlled parameters, i.e., the speed and the speed of the extraction or inlet manifold; By inputting the water level and the turbine’s three-point steam diagram (working envelope), the ratio of all Pids to valves and the operating and protection limits of all turbines can be calculated automatically.
