Working principle
The eddy current sensor works with the preprocessor to form an oscillator. When a metal target (such as a shaft) approaches the sensor probe, the oscillator’s amplitude is suppressed by an amount proportional to the distance between the sensor and the measured object. By measuring this change in amplitude, the amount of axial vibration can be precisely calculated.
