3500/42 is a Proximitor Seismic Monitor component developed by Bently Nevada, a four channel monitor with seismic and proximity sensor inputs. It compares the adjusted signal with user programmable alarms and adjusts the signal to generate vibration and position readings.
It can mainly monitor and report radial vibration, thrust position, REBAM, acceleration, expansion difference, eccentricity, speed, and other parameters. Each channel can be set in pairs to perform two specified functions, for example, channels 1 and 2 can perform one function, while channels 3 and 4 can perform another or the same function.
In addition, the monitor can compare monitoring parameters with the selected alarm set point in real time, and trigger an alarm when the parameters exceed the set point. The alarm can be set to 0 to 100% of full scale. When the full range exceeds the range of the sensor, the set point is limited by the sensor range.
Its input is to receive signals from one to four proximity, acceleration, or speed sensors, with a power consumption of 7.7 watts. During normal operation, the OK LED lights up; When connected to other modules in the 3500 rack, the TX/RX LED lights up. If the seismic monitor is in bypass mode, the bypass LED will light up.
It should be noted that for any current static value, an alarm set point can be established; Alarm levels can be set for any value measured by the monitor; Any two values measured by the monitor can be set as danger settings.
