The same card can be used for simplex or redundant applications. When installed on a two-wide redundant terminal block, the controller can recognize the card as a redundant pair. The controller scans each card and determines which one acts as the active interface. When a fault is detected, the system can automatically switch to the standby I/O card without special configuration to utilize the redundancy.
It usually works with an operating voltage of 24V DC. However, there may be a certain voltage fluctuation range in different application scenarios and system configurations.
- Digital Input Signals: It can receive digital signals output by devices such as switches, proximity switches, and photoelectric sensors. The signal level is usually 0V or 24V representing logic 0 and logic 1 respectively.
- Digital Output Signals: It can output digital signals to control devices such as relays, contactors, and solenoid valves. The output current is generally in the range of several hundred milliamperes to several amperes, which can directly drive small loads or drive large loads through intermediate relays.
- Analog Input Signals: It can receive analog signals output by devices such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and flow sensors. Common analog input signal types include 0 – 10V, 4 – 20mA, etc.
- Analog Output Signals: It can output analog signals such as 0 – 10V, 4 – 20mA, etc., which are used to control devices such as regulating valves and frequency converters.
It supports multiple communication protocols, such as Profibus, Modbus, and Industrial Ethernet, for data exchange and communication with other devices and systems.
- Temperature Range: It can generally work normally in an ambient temperature range from -20°C to +60°C. Some special models may have a wider operating temperature range.
- Humidity Range: The relative humidity is usually between 5% and 95% without condensation.
The above parameters are for reference only. The actual parameters may vary depending on the specific product model and application scenario.
