Hardware Composition: The CPU board contains a microprocessor, RAM memory, a real-time clock, LED indicators, an INIT button, and a CompactFlash interface.
Communication Ports: The baseboard has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). Among them, COM3 is an RS-232C port with modem control signals, and COM4 is isolated and used for connecting configuration tools.
Redundancy Support: CPU redundancy is supported to improve availability, including CPU, CEX – Bus, communication interfaces, and S800 I/O.
Installation Method: A simple DIN rail connection/disconnection procedure is adopted, using a specific sliding and locking mechanism.
Other Features: All baseboards provide an Ethernet address to provide hardware identification for each CPU; have ISA Secure certification; have high reliability and a simple fault diagnosis program; modular design allows for gradual expansion; protected at IP20 level, no enclosure is required; can be configured through 800xA control builder; have EMC certification; use a pair of segmented CEX – Bus of BC810/BC820; based on hardware of communication connection standards such as Ethernet, PROFIBUS DP, etc.; built-in redundant Ethernet communication ports.
