The module is a member of the Allen Bradley 1305 AC frequency converter series, which is a frequency converter driver with logically independent dual Profibus DP bus electrical interfaces. This module can backup the electrical interface or connect a single device to a dual redundant bus system. When using a point-to-point network, it can connect two Profibus DP bus segments through optical fibers. The dual optical ports are used to achieve dual fiber ring network redundancy. When a fiber optic failure occurs in a certain area, the system will rebuild the network link within 10ms to ensure normal communication and achieve self-healing protection for signal transmission, After troubleshooting the network, the system will automatically recover.
In addition, the module also supports manual setting of all standard rates or rate adaptation by the dial switch, flexible selection of 1-2 Profibus DP ports and 1-2 155M fiber optic interfaces, and supports redundant dual network fiber optic ring topology. Its data electrical interface supports 9-pin Sub_ D-socket connector, pin definition complies with the protocol specifications of Profibus DP and supports the Profibus DP bus standard. Its communication speed supports 9.6 kBit/s, 19.2 kBit/s, 45.45 kBit/s, 93.75 kBit/s, 187.5 kBit/s, 500 kBit/s, 1.5 MBit/s, 6 MBit/s, and 12 MBit/s.
This module also has the characteristic of signal delay (electrical port) ≤ 11Bit, with lightning protection of 4000V, overcurrent protection of 1.5A, and surge protection of 600W. The terminal resistor of this device does not come with a terminal resistor, please connect it externally as needed. Its fiber optic interface types include SC, FC, and ST, with SC optical interface as standard. Its optical line error rate is less than 10-9, and the signal delay (optical port) is ≤ 1.6us/node.
